How To Do Facial At Home With Natural Products
Email :122

I’m a huge fan of natural methods as much as I don’t like chemicals.
In my previous blogs, I shared how I include ayurvedic and homemade products in my daily lifestyle. I also shared my homemade and organic face wash powder method. So here, I’m with a new article on at-home facial methods. Since dirt is everywhere, it requires you to cleanse your face once a week to get rid of stuck dirt and excess oil from your skin. For this, I consider the at-home facial best. Here you can learn more about this –

My at-home facial method: This method includes six steps.

First step: Cleaning the face

It removes dirt and excess oil from the face.

What I use – For a mild cleanser, I use raw milk. Gently rub your face in a circular motion. It cleanses the skin mildly without any harsh chemicals and removes dirt.

Second step: Taking steam on the face

After completing the first step, I take a steam with warm plain water. Sometimes I add a few things to boiling water to get better clarity. Water steam removes black and white heads easily, removing any dirt left after the first step. Steaming increases the face glow. It deeply cleanses skin, helps loosen and soften dirt, oil, and dead skin cells, making them easier to remove during exfoliation.
What I use – For this step, sometimes I add lemon grass to boiling water. It purifies the skin and makes it more breathable.

Third Step: Exfoliation or scrub

The third step is exfoliating the skin using a natural scrubber. After steaming, dirt and dead skin cells remove easily while scrubbing. It also cleanses dark heads and black heads.
What I use – I use rice powder with a little honey for scrubbing. In my opinion, rice is the best natural scrubber I have come across; it is effective on my skin, and the result is quite impressive. After applying this scrub, leave it for at least two minutes, then gently rub in circular motion using your fingers together. Rub on cheeks, on T zones, and especially on the sides of the nose. Wash it out with normal water.

Fourth step: Facial

This is the most important step of all

Benefits of a facial:
Do deep cleansing
It provides Hydration to the skin
Improves texture and tone
It targets acne-prone skin by clearing clogged pores and minimizing breakouts.
It also reduces signs of ageing
Facial stimulates blood flow, delivering oxygen and nutrients to the skin
It increases product absorption.

What I use – For this step, I simply use aloe vera gel from plant leaves. Since aloe vera gel is a flexible liquid and massaging with it is a smooth process, I use it for my facial massage. Additionally, it is a natural ingredient, suits my skin and provides a glow to my skin.

Method: Start massaging some points of your face such as nose corners, T zones and cheeks. Rub gently in circular motion on cheeks. Put all your fingers together and put both on the centre of your forehead, after applying gel, massage it. The right fingers must go in the direction of the right temple and the left one-third to the left. Continue this until your gel does not get dry. Massage the neck areas in an upward direction.

Step five: Face pack

Step five is all about recovering the natural beauty of the face. After washing the fourth step, apply a face pack to your face, using natural Ingredients.
What I use – I use two different face packs depending on availability.
The first one is Multani mitti and plain water, make a paste, apply it on your face and let it dry, then wash with plain water.
The second one is ripe papaya and honey.
These face packs are used to provide deeper nourishment and targeted treatment to the skin.

Step six: Moisturizer

Last step of this facial method, after cleaning your face, apply the moisturizer of your choice.
What I use: I use homemade rosewater after a facial.

HAPPY SKIN CARE 🙂
