
Being grateful is an underrated emotion about which people rarely talk. What is Gratitude? We should know that. Gratitude is an emotion to express your feeling of being thankful for the things that you’ve got from someone or from something. It could be expressed through narration, words, poem & writings, gifts, prayers, meditation etc.
I did not know today about what should I write but now I’m glad that I am going to write about my own thoughts. Thoughts about expressing emotions and letting people know the art of being thankful to someone.
In this materialistic life, I am grateful to the people who stood by my side in every scenario. I am grateful for the lessons that I learned even from them whom I do not like much, they shaped me as a person that I’m today.
In the non-materialistic concept, I bow to the divine energy. The divine energy that guides you even when you do not have any idea. That divine energy that protects you in every scenario. For me, this divine energy is universe that aligns things in your favor when you feel it.
In between both, I find that the soul of your own is the ultimate energy, that is the supreme of anything. You are not a person of positive outlook if you do not be grateful to your own soul.
Here, lets understand why the gratitude should be a necessity? From my personal experiences, I have experienced that being grateful is not only about being thankful but also about how you see yourself. The way you express your kind gesture toward others mirror your thoughts. Either it be supreme energy or the regular vendor, your thankfulness aligns clarity of your decisions.
I had lots of complaints about issues in my life. I used to think that I do not born with silver spoon blah blah but thanks to my mommy who taught me the biggest life lesson. She taught me to be grateful for the things that you have so far. My question was “what about the things that I do not have?, what about the scarcity from which we suffer now?” She answered “Pray, then.” In simple words, If you are living a life with enough food, water, shelter etc. then you need to be thankful for that and if you do have problem with living that life then pray. Do not complaint instead be grateful.
I followed that for one and half year maybe. My life was quite good. I felt more calmer and happier despite having some issues. In those days, I found myself more beautiful. I did not know the reason but I was feeling good with the joy of being alive. I did not went to club, parties or other similar gatherings but still I was happier. I used to feel that universe is listening to me and used to do yoga, prayers and meditation. My life was balanced and my mind was calmer.
And one day, I did not know what happened, my routine went derail. I stopped doing all that. I still did prayer but my frequency weaken. My mind became foggy and my approach was not clear in being practical. I totally lost myself. I used to think even if I do pray everyday still why I feel unclear? Why does not it feel like the universe in listening to me anymore? Days go on. Now I got to realize that why I feel heavy in my prayers? Why does not it feel clear? The reason was I totally forgot to be grateful toward universe and l was loaded with lots of complaints.
The conclusion is : You do have to be grateful for everything that you got till now. Not only toward universe but also toward people who do cook food for you on which you are alive, Not only toward your own soul but also toward people who support you unconditionally, people who grow your food, mother Earth that take care of you and mother nature that keep you alive! Respect and protect it.
