Traditional Oil To Relieve Muscle And Joint Discomfort In Winter Season

Traditional Oil To Relieve Muscle And Joint Discomfort In Winters
Email :1111

Winter is a vibe that we all feel when we are protected with warm and cosy things around us. Be it, sunlight, hot beverages, warm snacks or products that protect us from unwanted joint and muscle pain due to severe cold, everything feels like a comfort on these days. I live in Northern India and here December means winter at its peak. To protect us from joint pain from cold, we make warm oil which is recommended by Ayurvedic texts. The oil that is used in this product is mustard oil.

To make this oil, warm one bowl of mustard oil, after it gets hot, add some fenugreek seeds in it, then two full spoons of carom seeds, I add more carom seeds than other ingredients because these seeds make you feel warm instantly. Now, add one piece of ginger and 7-8 garlic cloves after smashing little bit. The little smashing make their properties dilute in the oil easily. Boil the oil until all ingredients get brown or black. Now, your homemade winter oil is ready. You can store it just like that with its sediments or after straining it in a bottle.

Benefits of adding ingredients in the oil :

If we delve into explaining the benefits of plain mustard oil then it’s not less than any magical herb. Mustard oil solely reduce muscle stiffness when massaged regularly. The reason behind using mustard oil is that it is naturally a warm oil and treats pains caused by cold weather.

Adding carom seeds (Ajwain) in this, makes it more anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving. It is useful to treat pain in back, waist, and joint.

Adding fenugreek seeds (Methi) reduces inflammation and swelling. It helps reduce deep muscle-pain.

The garlic cloves used in oil improves blood flow and has natural anti-inflammatory compounds.

Ginger is excellent for warming the body. It reduces pain and stiffness, plus, helps muscles recover faster.

Some Important tips :

Best used before sleep

Keep the massaged area covered to get maximum benefits.

HAPPY WINTER!
