
Morning drinks and breakfasts are the basis of your all-day activities. Your health depends on what you put in during Morning hours and that benefits your overall appearance more than what you apply on the outer layer of skin. Here I’m going to share with you my healthy soup recipe to get better skin and better hair health without spending much.
My morning soup recipe:
Ingredients:
Two beetroots
One tomato
One or two carrots
2-3 black pepper
A pinch of turmeric
Salt – as per taste
For 4 people
Method:
Peel the beetroots and carrots, cut them into pieces including the tomato
Wash them
In a cooker, put all Ingredients together with 2 cups of water
Cook till one whistle comes
Now, mash all Ingredients within the cooker using a masher and mix them together
Take a strainer and strain the mix in a separate bowl, this is your soup.
Pour them into a glass and enjoy.
Some tips:
- Avoid using lemon or gooseberry instead of tomato, since they contain vitamin C and cooking makes it lose.
- This beetroot soup not just improve your health but also enhances the quality of your diet, just include this in your morning routine. This way your skin and hair health improves in better way. I continued this drink for full winter and the result was surprising.

What to do with the pulp that is left after making Soup:

You can use the pulp in different ways –
1. Add this while kneading flour for making chapatis
2. Add this to the Daal while cooking, making the dish more nutritious.
Why I avoided drinking this soup in its raw form:
Earlier, I used to drink this soup as juice, without cooking it, in its raw form. It used to make my stomach full for hours and sometimes I felt bloated. Later, after gaining some knowledge about Ayurveda, I found out that the beetroot in its raw form adds heaviness to your stomach. The reason behind that is the indigestible nature of raw beetroot juice. Moreover, Ayurveda recommend taking anything early morning in its warm form that is soothing to your stomach too. Further, his way the food includes more nutrition, and it doesn’t add heaviness to your body and is digested soon.
