Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Clerk (Office Assistant): Graduation in any discipline.
• Officer Scale-I (PO): Graduation in any discipline. Preference for Agriculture, Banking, Finance, Marketing, Law, etc.
• Officer Scale-II (Specialist Officers):
  • Agriculture Officer: Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Dairy/Animal Husbandry/Forestry/Veterinary Science.
  • Law Officer: Degree in Law with 2 years’ experience.
  • IT Officer: Degree in Electronics/Communication/Computer Science/IT with 1 year experience.
  • Chartered Accountant: CA with 1 year experience.
  • Marketing Officer: MBA in Marketing with 1 year experience.
  • Treasury Officer: MBA in Finance/Chartered Accountant with 1 year experience.
• Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer): Graduation in any discipline with 2 years’ experience.
• Officer Scale-III: Graduation in any discipline with 5 years’ experience as an officer in a bank/financial institution.

Age Limit (as on 1 August 2025)

• Office Assistant: 18 – 28 years
• Officer Scale-I: 18 – 30 years
• Officer Scale-II: 21 – 32 years
• Officer Scale-III: 21 – 40 years
  Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.

Language Proficiency

Candidates applying for Office Assistant and Officer Scale-I must be proficient in the local language of the state where the bank is located

Preliminary Exam (for Clerk and PO)

• Reasoning: 40 questions
• Quantitative Aptitude: 40 questions
• Total: 80 questions, 45 minutes

Main Exam (for Clerk and PO)

• Reasoning: 40 questions
• General Awareness: 40 questions
• Quantitative Aptitude: 40 questions
• English/Hindi Language: 40 questions
• Computer Knowledge: 40 questions
• Total: 200 questions, 2 hours

Officer Scale-II and III (Single Exam)

• Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, English/Hindi, Computer Knowledge and Professional Knowledge (for specialist roles).

Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer.
