How To Avoid Plastic Products With Mindfulness
Email :76

Plastic is everywhere, from wrapping fresh vegetables to our attire, it has spread like something that cannot be controlled. Some responsible citizens who want to avoid Plastic pollution, they too somehow end up purchasing Plastic products because of the ignorance of alternatives and affordability issues.
Concerning these two reasons, I’ll recommend some of the natural alternatives to Plastic products. These are all natural yet affordable. I always wanted to reduce my carbon footprint on the planet, and I’ve been on this path for two years now. Based on my own experience here you’ll know that natural alternatives do exist if you are aware of your mindful purchases.

Choose natural loofah over plastic loofahs

For the sake of your health and the mother earth, choose a natural loofah. It gently exfoliate the skin. Natural loofah is bio-degradable that support eco-friendly living and safer as compared to plastic loofah. Nowadays, natural loofahs are sold on every online store. Natural loofah basically comes from the dried fruit of gourd family plants. To get it in lower prices, visit any nearest rural area. Ask any farmer they will give you lots of loofahs even for free.

Cloth bag or denim bag for grocery shopping

I personally recommend this one, I’ve seen people buying every different product in a different plastic bag, which led to a lot of plastic bags in the house. To avoid this, always carry a cloth bag with you. You can make it by yourself with leftover fabrics or old cotton clothes. If you’ve denim clothes, then it will also be good to make a bag. This activity does not cost much.

Straws made of natural materials

One of the main causes of plastic pollution is plastic straws. They fill the land with single-use items per person. I’ve seen the beautiful green ground behind that coconut seller that was filled with lots of plastic straws. To avoid this, always carry a pouch of natural straws with you. Natural straws could be made of steel, Bamboo, wheat or even copper.

Clothes pad or menstrual cups

Everyone knows about the harmful impact of using plastic pads. They are bleached and made of multiple layers of plastic. They can cause rashes and other irritation to the skin. When these pads are discarded, they end up in landfills for decades because of their non-biodegradable nature.
Opt for cloth pads or menstrual cups. They are good for both your health and the planet.
